Shipping Terms and Conditions
These shipping options are based on estimates and are presented for comparison purposes only. Some carriers will charge a fee if the shipping address given is not accurate or correct. Please verify the address you have given is accurate and correct to avoid additional charges. We reserve the right to require a signature at time of delivery.
Brokerage fees, duties, taxes, and any other accessorial charges are the responsibility of the recipient. If JIHOSTROJ a.s. is billed these charges on your behalf, you agree to pay JIHOSTROJ a.s. at a later date. To economize on the shipping costs, international orders are generally shipped complete unless otherwise advised by the customer.
FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS
Most orders ordering minimum one governor unit, will be shipped prepaid, with JIHOSTROJ a.s. paying the freight costs! This only applies to orders shipped standard, more economical shipping by carrier. Please inquire at time of order if you wish different way of shiping. Our exclusive prepaid policy is one more advantage you have in placing your order with JIHOSTROJ a.s. company.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
The general tendence is to discourage special product requests due to the time and effort required to prepare such items. We have always taken another approach and welcome requests for special items, because the best way how the governor works is when it machs exact engine and propeller configuration. Please provide as much information as possible including make, model, serial number of aircraft and exact part number or product you need. We will research the item and respond back to you as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours. Once advised of current price and lead time at which time you can place an order if acceptable. Our goal is to provide everything you need for your aircraft.
HOLD and SHIP COMPLETE
This is preferred selection. We hold your entire order until all items are in stock. You authorize us to charge your credit card for the entire amount of the order to secure those parts for you in advance, even if the order cannot ship the same day due to backordered items. This will allow for all items on your order to ship at one time, but it can also cause indefinite delays in shipment if any items is not in stock and delivery from our suppliers is delayed. Unless otherwise instructed, we will Hold and Ship Complete (if necessary) to reduce the transport costs.
OUR PRICING POLICY
Jihostroj a.s. has always taken great pride in offering aircraft builders/owners the lowest propeller governor prices in the market. Special quotations on other quantity purchases gladly furnished on request. Should there be any kind of price discrepancy we will notify you immediately. We will continue to do our best to minimize increases and offer all of our products at the best possible prices. All prices are subject to change without notice. Although we update pricing for the online catalog on a daily basis, occasionally there may be a price disrepancy between the price online and the actual current price. If there is a price discrepancy, that we identify at the time we process the order, we will notify you by email so that you are aware of any changes.
RETURNED MERCHANDISE
Inform Jihostroj a.s. customer service for Claim Number before returning any product. Merchandise may be returned for credit or refund within 30 days from date of purchase if received in resaleable condition-packed in original manufacturer's box, complete with instructions and all components (if applicable). A copy of the original order showing purchase or information stating the invoice number and date of purchase, with reason for return must accompany the article. Do not mail purchase information in letter form under separate cover. All returns must be made to Jihostroj a.s. in Velesin, Czech Republic. Certain items may not be eligible for return. Call first for return authorization and instructions.
DAMAGED OR SHORTED MERCHANDISE
Open and examine all packages promptly. Notify the Jihostroj a.s. Customer Service Department of any discrepancies in the order. If the merchandise is received in damaged condition or the carrier fails to deliver the entire shipment, make note of the damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading and ask the driver to sign it. Then call the terminal office of the carrier and institute a claim for the loss or damage. If a package delivered by the carrier arrives damaged, report this to the driver immediately. The currier will issue a report on the damage to Jihostroj a.s. at which time a replacement shipment can be made.

PRODUCT WARRANTY
Jihostroj a.s. warrants for a period of two years from the date of original purchase its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
